The competition is open to violinists of any nationality provided that they are neither older than 25 nor younger than 16, both ages inclusive when the rounds of the competition begin.
Violinists awarded any of the three first official prizes in previous editions are not eligible to enter this competition.
Contestants interested in entering the competition must send the duly completed online registration form, together with the remaining information provided in full bases (section 1.3), up until 23.59 h. GMT+1 of january 12, 2015.

When winners were especially relevant, at the discretion of the chairman, 1 year of representation by Columbia Artist will be awarded.
The winner of the First Prize of the Pablo Sarasate competition shall be engaged by the Navarra Symphony Orchestra, Cascais e Oeiras Chamber Orchestra, Kraków Philharmonic Orchestra and Filharmonia Poznańska to perform in either the 2016/2017 season or the 2017/2018 season.
The winner of the First Prize of the Pablo Sarasate competition shall be engaged by the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid [Madrid Higher Royal Conservatory of Music] to offer a recital of Violin and Piano in season 2015/2016 (the recital is to be performed with the Stradivarius violin that Sarasate donated to this conservatory).
The commitments stated in the foregoing are subject to the ordinary terms and conditions provided by the respective organisations, in compliance with their usual procedures, and depend on agreements being reached with the parties concerned in relation to such conditions and the contents of the programme. This list of performances shall be updated on the Competition’s website.
